Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Global Incentive Compensation Analytics. You will build predictive models, conduct advanced analytics, and automate insight generation to evaluate compensation plans and ROI.

The role partners with GTM stakeholders to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data science or analytics, strong Python and SQL/Snowflake skills, and experience creating dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field (data science, CS, statistics, math, econ).
• 3+ years in data science, analytics, or technical quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistics, and modeling.
• Advanced SQL/Snowflake querying, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Data visualization dashboards in Tableau or similar tool.
• Ability to independently address complex analytical requests and build reliable models.
• Strong storytelling to present insights and influence decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scientific and predictive models using Python to simulate compensation plan changes for GTM planning.
• Perform advanced analytics to evaluate ROI of incentive programs.
• Develop data pipelines and automate insight generation with SQL and Python.
• Partner with GTM teams to translate models into actionable recommendations.
• Forecast commission costs with predictive algorithms for future performance.
• Design a framework to evaluate payout structures across roles and performance tiers.
