Job summary

Gourmet Home Products in Manhattan, NY, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage the administrative side of inbound international shipments, from booking with our China teams through warehouse receiving and billing. You will maintain accurate shipment, import, and inventory records and support customs documentation.

You will collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure goods are received, recorded, stored, and billed correctly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics, import operations, warehouse administration, or data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• On-site work in Manhattan, NY.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound import shipments and maintain arrival schedules.
• Coordinate with China office and logistics teams on booking and shipment processes.
• Work with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers on delivery schedules and issues.
• Prepare invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs documents.
• Verify shipment quantities and supporting documentation.
• Respond to supplier inquiries and communicate shipment status to stakeholders.
• Enter and maintain shipments and inventory in company systems.
• Upload product images to inventory sheets.
• Support inventories, reconciliations, and audits.
• Identify process improvements for logistics efficiency.
