Galison Publishing seeks an Inventory and Logistics Manager to oversee inventory movement across a global supply chain, coordinating with factories, warehouses, customs brokers, and freight forwarders. The role blends day-to-day execution with process improvements, cost control, and data-driven reporting.

The position requires extensive logistics experience, strong Excel skills, and collaboration with Sales, Production, Finance, and external partners.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of experience in logistics, inventory, distribution, or related operations.
• Experience with international freight, customs, and third-party logistics.
• Strong Excel and data analysis; reconciliations and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as liaison with freight forwarders, brokers, factories, warehouses, and other logistics providers for inbound shipments.
• Coordinate shipping methods and routes; monitor bookings, documentation, shipment timing, ETAs, freight costs, and service issues.
• Maintain HTS/tariff classifications and support customs clearance and import compliance requirements.
• Maintain visibility into inventory, transfers, cycle counts, and variances; resolve issues with partners.
• Coordinate inventory corrections, disposals, and special handling with internal and external partners.
• Monitor stockouts, backorders, aging inventory, and replenishment; elevate risks and propose actions.
• Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation and logistics KPIs/reporting.
• Identify root causes and implement process improvements to improve service, accuracy, speed or cost.
