Hapag-Lloyd AG in the United States seeks a Coordinator of Sales Steering Imports to coordinate sales efforts across export and import trades, maximizing volume and contribution while driving customer performance and satisfaction.

In close alignment with the Trade Management department, you will establish new business opportunities and acceptable rates for customers meeting expectations, while ensuring compliant and efficient cargo movement.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required; maritime experience preferred.
• Strong customer communication over phone and email.
• Ability to understand shipping terms and routes.
• Proficient with MS Office and data handling.

Responsabilités

• Provide full customer service on inbound questions including arrival information, charges due, and delivery location.
• Prepare customs and freight manifests where applicable.
• Collaborate with GSC on import document preparation and release.
• Coordinate Mini Land Bridge transportation and bookings with GSC.
• Prepare invoices for additional charges and maintain archiving per ISO 9002.
