Qualifications

• Associates degree required with at least 2 years' experience in customer service preferred.
• Understands most shipping terms and routings; can clarify terms specific to locations.

Responsibilities

• Proactive mindset and collaborative approach to daily tasks.
• Coordinate transport of containers by rail, truck, barge and feeder within GEO area.
• Handle customer inquiries and communicate with vendors, terminals and authorities.
• Facilitate cargo releases and customs clearance in Terminal systems.
• Arrange land bridge transportation and cargo bookings in partnership with GSC team.
• Prepare cargo releases and delivery orders for customers.
• Track dwelling containers and follow up to avoid storage costs.
• Ensure compliance with hazmat, heavy/overweight and out-of-gauge cargoes.
• Communicate with HL legal/insurance and provide supporting documents.
