Job summary

Nestlé Health Science seeks a seasoned International Logistics Specialist to manage cross-border shipments, optimize carrier performance, and lead process improvements. This role collaborates with global transportation teams and external partners to ensure timely movement of goods to and from the U.S.

You will coordinate vendor reviews, support RFPs, and monitor costs while resolving issues impacting delivery and customer service. Remote-friendly with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international logistics with port terminals, dray carriers, and steam ship lines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to limit costs and risks in the supply chain.
• Manage ongoing relationships with import/export vendors including ocean and dray carriers; conduct vendor reviews.
• Assist in leading RFPs related to International Logistics/Drayage vendors.
• Coordinate annual container forecasts with Nestlé Global Transportation and manage carrier allocations.
• Manage claims related to damages during international shipping.
• Serve as internal SME for international logistics processes and trends.
• Attend industry seminars to stay updated on current events.
• Lead projects to change processes for better end-to-end execution.
• Independently resolve problems with business impact in mind.
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize routing and reduce delays/costs.
• Analyze port costs and implement best practices to reduce delays.
