Job summary

You will monitor performance, lead vendor reviews, assist in RFPs for drayage and international logistics, analyze port costs, and drive process improvements with cross-functional teams. Remote-friendly role with standard business hours and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business or related field.
• 2+ years experience in international logistics with port terminals, dray carriers, and steam ship lines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication/relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to limit costs and risks in the supply chain while driving process improvements.
• Manage relationships with import/export vendors, including ocean and dray carriers; conduct vendor reviews.
• Assist in leading RFPs related to International Logistics/Drayage vendors.
• Coordinate with Nestlé Global Transportation to determine annual container forecast and select carriers.
• Manage claims related to damages during international shipping.
• Serve as the internal expert for international logistics processes and trends.
• Attend seminars, conferences, and presentations on International Logistics to stay current.
• Lead and manage projects to improve end-to-end execution.
• Independently resolve problems with awareness of business/customer impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine best routing options to avoid delays and mitigate costs.
• Analyze port costs and implement best practices to mitigate delays/charges.
• Develop methods and procedures to execute logistics operations efficiently.
