Job summary

Coda Search in Moonachie, NJ is seeking an experienced Import/Export Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role. You will manage import/export shipments, coordinate documentation, and serve as the main point of contact for customers while ensuring compliance with trade and transportation regulations.

You will collaborate with carriers and vendors, maintain accurate shipment records, and prioritize multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Import/Export experience
• Strong knowledge of import/export operations and documentation
• Customer service experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or supply chain management preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export documentation and shipment processes.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from initiation through completion.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of import/export documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and serve as a key point of contact for customers.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding shipment status and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments.
• Effectively manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
