Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Import/Export Billing Clerk to ensure accurate and timely billing for import and export shipments. The role supports compliance with customer requirements and maintains billing records with attention to detail.

The position requires at least 2 years in billing or accounting within logistics, plus familiarity with SAP/Oracle or similar systems and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of billing or accounting experience in transportation/logistics.
• Experience with import/export billing is a plus.
• Familiarity with billing software and MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review billing invoices for import/export shipments based on contracts, rates, and service agreements.
• Record billing information accurately and timely including shipment details and charges.
• Verify bills of lading, invoices, and customs documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation for easy retrieval.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing activities and financial audits.
• Adhere to billing processes and internal controls.
• Stay updated on import/export billing regulations and best practices.
