Mallory Alexander International Logistics is seeking an Import Specialist, Customs to prepare and submit customs entries to CBP, review documentation, and coordinate clearance for shipments. The role requires strong HTS knowledge, CargoWise One proficiency, and experience in import operations.

The position involves liaising with customers, CBP, steamship lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure compliant and timely clearance, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in customs brokerage, import operations, or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and import procedures.
• Proficiency in CargoWise One.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word & Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit customs entries for imported shipments to CBP.
• Review invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, and docs for compliance.
• Determine HTS classifications and applicable duty rates.
• Coordinate data for OGA/PGA requirements.
• Resolve discrepancies and clearance-related issues.
• Monitor entry status and communicate with CBP and agencies.
• Provide updates to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain shipment and customs documentation in CargoWise One.
• Handle related accounting processes, including invoicing and freight bills.
