Job summary

• 5+ years experience in international freight forwarding import customs brokerage (air, ocean, and/or domestic)
• 3+ years supervisory / people-management experience
• 1+ years licensed Customs Broker (required)

Responsibilities

• Import Compliance, Customs Documentation & Regulatory Oversight: ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations; examine documents like invoices, bills of lading, and clearance papers across modes.
• Team Leadership & Performance Management: supervise two or more staff; hire, coach, train, and develop; set policies and service standards for import ops.
• Import Operations, Policies & KPI Management: own responsibility for meeting KPI targets for the Import CHB product and ensure SOPs followed.
• Customer Requirements, Quotations & Stakeholder Communication: qualify customer shipping requirements and prepare accurate, profitable quotations; coordinate import schedules and communications.
• Shipment Tracking, Recovery & Delivery Coordination: oversee recovery/delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners; monitor delays and coordinate actions.
• Billing Accuracy & Continuous Improvement: ensure all entries are billed correctly and drive improvements across the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned; Complies with all policies and standards.
• The wage range for this position is $77,620.00-$116,440.00 and may vary by geography and experience.
