Job summary

Crane is seeking a qualified imports supervisor to compile regulatory documents for entry processing and coordinate release in line with US customs rules. The role involves liaising with carriers, brokers and government agencies to ensure compliant declarations and import timelines.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, conducting bi-annual reviews, and staying current with regulatory changes to support clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred in International Business, Transportation, Finance or related field.
• Must possess a valid Customs Broker License.
• 5–10 years industry experience.
• 5+ years supervisory or managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Compile and prepare commercial regulatory documents for entry processing.
• Coordinate and confirm release while in compliance with US customs regulations.
• Coordinate/assist release of goods from carrier, customs or other governmental examinations.
• Monitor US Customs brokers to ensure proper declarations for classification and importation.
• Interface with US Customs and other Federal agencies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Provide consultation on importation of goods through US Customs and regulatory changes.
