Job summary

American Friends of Beit Ruth seeks a Development Associate to join its Manhattan office in a full-time hybrid role. You will drive fundraising campaigns, coordinate donor relations, and support communications across the U.S. and Israel teams to advance programs and events.

You will work closely with the Development Director and Communications Director, contributing to strategy, stewardship, and visibility while juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years’ experience in nonprofit Fundraising/Development and Communications, including Social Media.
• Proven ability to strategically fundraise and engage diverse audiences; strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with donor management systems; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage fundraising efforts in collaboration with DD and CD.
• Coordinate donor relations, events, and outreach to supporters, foundations, and partners.
• Plan and implement communications strategies across digital and print channels.
• Manage Village-related programs and special events, including annual Gala and campaigns.
• Collaborate with U.S. and Israel teams to align messaging and fundraising goals.
