Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a team of project execution engineers within our Project Engineering Organization in the United States. You will manage day-to-day tactical project execution, grow team capabilities, and drive strategic initiatives across engineering disciplines.

We value 5+ years of leadership in material handling or logistics automation, with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading engineers on projects in material handling/logistics automation.
• 8+ years in related industry preferred.
• Ability to work in remote, office, and customer site environments.
• Willingness to travel 15-25% to customer or Dematic locations.

Responsibilities

• Own project performance and outcomes of direct engineering team.
• Provide coaching to ensure team member and project success.
• Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost targets; anticipate issues.
• Report project performance and status to management regularly.
• Maintain monthly forecasting and manage project budgets.
