Job summary

Dematic Corp seeks a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a team of project execution engineers within our Project Engineering Organization. You will drive day-to-day project execution, mentoring engineers, and aligning cross-functional efforts to ensure quality, on-time delivery and cost effectiveness.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in engineering management and 8+ years in material handling or logistics automation, with AutoCAD and PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years engineering management/people leadership
• 8+ years material handling/logistics automation experience preferred
• Ability to lead remotely and on customer sites
• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD) and PLCs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own project performance and outcomes of the direct engineering team.
• Provide coaching and guidance to ensure team and project success.
• Ensure targets for quality, on-time delivery and cost are met.
• Report project performance and status to management and peers.
• Maintain monthly project forecasting and manage budgets.
