Job summary

Figma is seeking an Immigration Program Manager to support growing immigration and global mobility programs. You will be a primary contact for visa-sponsored Figmates, managing immigration cases, compliance, and employee experience.

You’ll also support international relocations and broader mobility initiatives, collaborating with across People, Finance, Legal, and Payroll. This is a full-time role that can be based in the US or remote in the United States, with exposure to M&A and international

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing immigration for multiple regions at a global tech company or law firm.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, EB-1/EB-2).
• Experience coordinating with external immigration counsel and handling relocations.
• Experience with compliance projects in People Ops and mobility programs.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for immigration inquiries, visa assessments, case status, and strategy.
• Manage a high-volume immigration case portfolio across US, EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on petition preparation, timelines, and audits.
• Track work authorizations and ensure timely renewals and escalations.
• Assess sponsorship feasibility for new hires and internal transfers.
• Develop Figmate-facing immigration resources, FAQs, and training for stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory changes and manage internal reporting and I-9 compliance.
• Coordinate international relocations and participate in global mobility initiatives.
