Job summary

Figma is seeking an Immigration Program Manager to lead and scale our global mobility efforts. You will serve as primary contact for visa-sponsored Figmates, manage case portfolios across US, EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and partner with counsel, People, Finance and Legal to drive compliance and process improvements.

You will design resources and training, monitor regulatory changes, handle relocations, and support M&A initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing immigration for multiple regions at a global tech company or law firm.
• Deep expertise in U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories.
• Experience with international relocations and global mobility programs.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for teams.
• Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for immigration inquiries, case status, and strategy.
• Manage a high-volume immigration portfolio across US, EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on petitions, audits, and compliance.
• Track work authorizations and renewals, ensuring timely escalations.
• Assess sponsorship feasibility for new hires and internal transfers.
• Develop resources, FAQs, playbooks, and training for stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory changes and manage internal reporting and I-9 efforts.
• Coordinate international relocations and participate in mobility initiatives.
