Job summary

GSCF, a leading global provider of working capital solutions, seeks a Controller to lead worldwide accounting operations and financial reporting under IFRS. You will manage over 30 entities across 26 countries, ensuring accurate consolidation, robust controls, and compliance while partnering with finance leadership and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 5+ years leading accounting teams.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience leading global consolidations involving multiple legal entities and foreign currencies.
• Experience coordinating external audits in multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and audit requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure accurate accounting for complex transactions (revenue, leases, business combinations, etc.).
• Monitor emerging IFRS standards and assess organizational impact.
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, leases, payroll, and intercompany accounting.
• Coordinate accounting processes across international subsidiaries and shared service centers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and manage external audits across jurisdictions.
• Partner with FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global accounting organization.
