Qualifications

• PhD in a metals or materials discipline with emphasis on computational methods or a Master's with 2+ years industrial deformation modeling experience.
• Experience with deformation modeling of aerospace materials; titanium experience preferred.
• Industrial experience with modeling applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TIMET’s global deformation modeling efforts and drive effective use of simulation tools.
• Develop/validate microstructure prediction tools and ICME methodologies for TIMET’s businesses.
• Represent TIMET with PCC modeling teams/forums and with software vendors.
