Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Technical Director TIMET Toronto OHIO to drive a Zero Defects culture and lead metallurgical innovation across PCC Metals & Forgings plants in Ohio.

The role focuses on delivering technical leadership, improving yield, first pass yield, and implementing APQP processes, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and collaboration with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.

Relocation is authorized; ITAR/EAR compliance may apply and U.S. export controls will guide eligibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science or Metallurgy; aerospace or automotive background preferred.
• Zero Defects mindset and continuous improvement experience required.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills for senior leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to PCC Metals & Forgings plants.
• Drive improvements in yield, scrap, rework, and first pass yield.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Technical/Engineering team.
• Manage customer communications on technical topics and site visits.
• Lead New Product Introduction in line with sales strategy and APQP toolbox.
• Provide advanced metallurgical support to plant and mill development.
• Collaborate with Quality to deploy Zero Defects and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
