Job summary

Chart Industries seeks a Global Director, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) to lead safety, environmental and occupational health strategies across manufacturing facilities, field operations and projects. Responsibilities include establishing global objectives, implementing risk assessment programs, and leading ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive Environmental, Health & Safety experience within manufacturing or field service environments.
• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience managing multi-site or global EHS programs.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, environmental regulations, and global EHS compliance standards.
• Experience leading ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Chart’s global Safety, Environmental & Health strategy and roadmap across all units and sites.
• Establish global HSE objectives, KPIs, and scorecards aligned with goals.
• Drive risk management, incident investigations, corrective actions, and training.
• Develop and maintain global safety systems for regulatory compliance, ISO standards.
• Coach regional EHS professionals and report performance to executives.
