Job summary

Fluence seeks an HR Operations & Systems Manager (Workday) to lead Global HRIS and Americas HR operations. You will configure, optimize, and support Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent/Performance) and partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate data and compliant processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5–9+ years of Workday-focused HRIS experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
• 5-9+ years of progressive HRIS experience with a focus on Workday.
• In-depth Workday HCM configuration, business processes, and reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel data manipulation (VLOOKUPs, INDEX, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of payroll, benefits, compliance, and HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of Workday HCM, including configuration, security, access, and module upgrades.
• Serve as Workday SME; troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth integrations with other systems and ADP.
• Develop and deliver custom reports and analytics to guide workforce decisions and compliance.
• Drive process improvements through automation and system configuration to enhance the employee experience.
• Lead Workday projects from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Manage HRIS and operations team timelines; mentor staff and escalate complex inquiries.
