Job summary

Munich Re Group in the United States seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to support Group Technology and MRAS. You will translate business priorities into people strategies, drive leadership and talent initiatives, and collaborate across regions to enable growth and transformation.

You will partner with SHRBP teams, lead strategic HR projects, recruit for management roles, and work with works council to foster a productive, inclusive work environment in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of in-depth experience in core HR areas with strategic impact
• Experience in international project work
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative mindset across SHRBP teams
• Ability to operate in a heavily matrixed corporate environment
• Change management skills to diagnose and implement strategies during transformation
• Strategic thinking with analytical, structured problem-solving
• High empathy and excellent communication for partnerships with managers
• English business fluency; German a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement HR-related organizational change with management and groups
• Participate in strategic planning, Executive Reviews, and global HR initiatives
• Lead end-to-end Talent Review process and succession planning
• Lead recruiting efforts for key positions across Munich Re Group
• Provide guidance on employee relations including conflict resolution
• Collaborate with DEI, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, Rewards
• Leverage HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive improvements
• Coordinate with works council and speakers’ committee
