Job summary

Oyster is a distributed, fully remote global employment platform hiring talent worldwide. This client-facing role centers on senior HR expertise, handling complex employee relations and country-specific HR topics across Europe.

You will leverage AI to scale documentation, partner with internal teams, and drive high-performance outcomes in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll work from anywhere with a strong English base, fluency in additional European languages is a plus, and you’ll champion

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ER & HR generalist experience.
• Experience handling complex and high-risk cases including investigations and terminations.
• Cross-country HR exposure with global focus across regions.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior HR expert for complex ER matters across allocated countries.
• Draft country-specific HR information and leverage AI to scale documentation.
• Provide training on HR topics to internal Oyster teams as needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Product, Legal to solve country HR issues.
• Continuously improve workflows and use AI to increase efficiency.
