Job summary

Monte Rosa Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to lead day-to-day People Experience operations, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, while maintaining data integrity in HR systems and ensuring compliance.

The role partners with Payroll and Finance on compensation and benefits, develops HR policies, and provides analytics to guide business decisions. A global, fast-paced biotech environment requires strong collaboration and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior generalist or 8+ years for manager level with HR operations focus.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance.
• Experience partnering with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and external vendors.
• Experience administering HRIS platforms and generating workforce analytics.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences or regulated settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations across onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Administer HR systems, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and optimization.
• Manage HR compliance activities and audit readiness.
• Support compensation, benefits, and employee data with Payroll and Finance.
• Develop and improve HR policies, workflows, and SOPs.
• Generate workforce metrics and HR reports for decision-making.
• Support annual HR programs including performance, engagement, and learning.
• Manage benefit programs and vendor relationships; resolve issues timely.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on onboarding transitions.
• Provide operational support for organizational changes and workforce planning.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
