Job summary

Hatch in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support our Shared Services group from the office. You will assist with HR generalist activities, onboarding processes, HR reporting and analytics, and recruitment duties as needed.

We value a strong academic record and practical Excel skills, with in-person collaboration and occasional remote work allowed. This internship offers mentorship from HR professionals and exposure to global Hatch projects.

Qualifications

Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR or a related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Previous HR internship or related experience is an asset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
Familiarity with HRIS or HR software (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support with HR generalist activities including new hire file creation, onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, and program reviews.
Assist with recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews and reference checks.
Create reports and maintain HR databases.
Assist with day-to-day employee requests.
Maintain data in HR Information System.
Other duties as assigned.
