Hatch Ltd. in Pittsburgh, PA invites you to join as a Procurement Intern. Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support global offices from our Pittsburgh office and gain exposure to tendering, bid documentation, and supplier coordination.

This internship is designed for a student pursuing business or engineering studies with a 3.0 GPA, offering in-person collaboration, mentorship, and opportunities to work on real-world bids across our global projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Be the liaison with internal stakeholders to obtain and verify specifications, lead times, and delivery dates.
• Prepare Commercial Bid documents, terms, delivery requirements, and bid documents to bidders.
• Manage prequalification and selection of bidders; coordinate bid lists and approvals.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of the bid process; log questions and issue addenda.
• Coordinate evaluations, apply Incoterms, review vendor terms, and assist in payment terms and milestones.
• Help clarify/negotiate commercial terms and prepare purchase orders or contracts for execution.
