Moon Creative Lab in Palo Alto seeks a Senior HR Generalist to partner with our HR teams in Palo Alto and Tokyo, driving global HR operations and compliant processes.

You will own HRIS, data accuracy, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, payroll data updates with the parent company, and support performance cycles. This role emphasizes autonomy, cross-cultural collaboration, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as HR Generalist or HR Operations Specialist.
• Hands-on HRIS expertise with data integrity.
• Global mindset and cross-time zone collaboration.
• High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
• Adaptable in a fast-moving studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS and data management for global modules.
• Drive onboarding and offboarding processes with accuracy.
• Serve as trusted advisor for employee relations.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll data updates with the parent company.
• Coordinate performance management cycles with managers.
• Lead training initiatives in collaboration with Tokyo Sr. HRBP.
• Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local laws.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics for Palo Alto Studio.
• Support regional recruiting operations and background checks.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT/Workplace for operations.
