Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Global HR Communications Intern to support our internal communications strategy from the Auburn Hills, MI location. You will help craft articles, videos, and social posts to engage employees worldwide and assist in rolling out new HR initiatives.

The role requires current enrollment in an accredited program in HR, Communications, or Marketing, with a three-day-per-week onsite attendance. Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and media creation is preferred.

Qualifications

Undergraduate/Graduate student in HR or Communications/Marketing.
Current full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university.
Ability to report onsite at Auburn Hills campus (at least three days).
Experience in graphic design, media creation, and publishing with a good eye for modern design messaging.
Video editing experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Experience with SharePoint and Social Chorus a plus.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
Highly motivated, dynamic, and well organized, creative, and open to new ideas.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Create internal communication content such as articles, videos, and social media posts.
Concept and implement new communication initiatives to boost employee engagement.
Collaborate with global and local teams on internal communications for new strategic initiatives.
Coordinate communications around corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Support rollout of all functionally relevant content.
Use Social Chorus and SharePoint to publish initiatives.
