Job summary

Socomec North America is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with objectives and driving performance across the employee lifecycle.

The role covers talent acquisition, onboarding, DPR oversight, compensation guidance, employee relations, and development programs, with collaboration across HR functions and international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to HR (e.g. business, psychology, sociology, etc.)
• Masters of Industrial Relations (MIR) degree is an asset; CHRL/SHRM designation preferred
• 7+ years of HR experience across the employee lifecycle, including USA/Canada teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders and align HR initiatives with organizational goals
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and integration programs for new hires
• Oversee Development & Performance Review (DPR) processes and salary review/talent discussions
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with labor laws
• Drive employee engagement, learning, development, and succession planning
• Lead HR projects such as HRIS/payroll implementations and diversity initiatives
• Coordinate with global HR teams and HQ in France to ensure alignment
