Job summary

Moodle is hiring a People & Culture Advisor to support more than 280 team members in over 25 countries, with primary focus on the US. You’ll advise on policies, benefits, and leave, drive recruitment globally, and manage onboarding for remote and multi-location teams.

Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you’ll partner with P&C teams worldwide to strengthen our people programs. Ideal candidates have strong US employment-law knowledge, multi-state experience, and comfort working across

Qualifications

• Strong HR generalist experience, including direct experience supporting a US workforce.
• Solid knowledge of US federal and state employment laws, multi-state experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience coordinating US benefits and payroll processes (health plans, 401(k)).
• Experience advising on employee relations matters and coaching managers through sensitive conversations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build trust across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Advise team members and managers on policies, leave, benefits, and day-to-day questions.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment on a global scale, supporting hiring managers and candidate experience.
• Oversee onboarding for new starters across locations.
• Coach managers on ER issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Ensure US federal/state employment requirements are met; SME for US payroll/benefits processes.
• Maintain and improve HR systems and global HR processes; support L&D and engagement initiatives.
