Job summary

Amex GBT seeks a Manager of Global Supplier Partnerships (GSP) to lead end-to-end supplier management, from contract negotiation to business development and strategic partnership programs, including the Hotel Growth Initiative (HGI).

The role reports to the Senior Director of Global Hotel Commercial and focuses on driving revenue by negotiating profitable hotel supplier agreements, fostering strategic partnerships, and coordinating with multiple internal teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written/verbal)
• Commercial, data-driven mindset with analytical and strategic skills
• Proven negotiator with a track record of structuring and closing strong agreements/deals
• Strong problem-solving skills; excels in ambiguity and under pressure
• Deep knowledge of hotels, hotel agreements, and the broader travel supplier landscape
• Working knowledge of revenue management and travel tech platforms (GDS, POS, booking tools)
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills across all levels
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and remotely, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills
• Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments; travel domestically/internationally

Responsibilities

• Negotiate strategic hotel supplier contracts delivering value across stakeholders
• Identify and drive incremental revenue opportunities with suppliers
• Operationalize supplier value propositions and ensure commitments
• Cultivate strong supplier relationships with innovative engagement approaches
• Analyze portfolio metrics and develop revenue forecasts with Global Revenue Management
• Collaborate across departments and regions to align strategies and optimize outcomes
