Job summary

The Global Ambassador Hotel, a hospitality landmark in the Phoenix area, is seeking an Event Coordinator to deliver elevated guest experiences. This role liaises between clients and operations, coordinating vendors, and ensuring flawless on-site logistics for banquets and events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in event coordination or related role.
• Excellent client service with refined verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between clients and event operations to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Direct liaison with event vendors to ensure efficient on-site logistics.
• Follow up on banquet and restaurant event arrangements to ensure details are executed as planned.
• Ensure quality standards and service expectations are met throughout each event.
• Review and analyze banquet event orders (BEOs) to determine setups, timelines, and guest needs.
• Communicate event details and last-minute changes clearly to all departments.
• Produce and distribute banquet event orders, resumes, valet reports, IRD forms, and meeting minutes.
• Attend weekly BEO and resume meetings to align upcoming events and priorities.
• Maintain schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays, to support a 24-hour operation.
