Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical marketing experience including prior experience leading congress activities
• HIV Treatment and/or PrEP preferred
• Previous strategic and operational experience from country level business unit director and marketing roles
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to independently lead highly visibility strategic projects and translate strategies into defined resource needs, tactics and metrics to achieve results
• Demonstrated strong ability to lead and influence in a fast paced, matrix global biopharmaceutical organization across a variety of organizational levels and disciplines with high expectations and a customer focus which drives the need for quality deliverables and performance
• Experience working with senior /executive management to clearly and concisely present strategic plans for endorsement
• Strong competitive and innovative mindset and strategic and analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations across functional areas
• Demonstrated excellence in project management and working collaboratively effectively and managing multiple priorities and projects
• Proven skills in global pharmaceutical planning including the ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans and budget management

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the annual congress strategy for the HIV Therapeutic Area in partnership with cross-functional global teams, local market affiliate Teams and agency partners
• Serve as commercial voice into cross-functional congress planning activities to ensure alignment across teams and with business objectives
• Develop Commercial content for individual conferences, including coordinating with the Congress Center of Excellence for compliance review of materials
• Support the Global Congress Center of Excellence and agency partners in designing and building/implementing Commercial Congress materials (e.g., Booth, microsite, advertising, symposia) and staffing for customer-facing roles at congresses
• Support the Congress Center of Excellence in tracking key performance indicators for performance and impact of congress activities
• Develop and manage vendor relationships and global budget to deliver congress strategies and deliverables
• Work with selected key G9 markets in an Execution Lead capacity - partnering with BUD's/ Marketing Leads to understand key challenges and opportunities, feeding back needs and insights to the Global Marketing Team and ensuring aligned global execution of strategic and tactical plans
