Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program that pairs you with a technology team to work on real, high-impact projects within a global hedge fund. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and professionals, and present your work to senior leaders by summer's end.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across data ingestion, high-performance processing, modelling, and live trading analytics, while engaging in professional development and mentor-led growth

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, business, or another STEM field.
• Proficiency in Python, or knowledge of C++ or Java.
• Proficiency with machine learning and AI applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Ability to be collaborative in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Pair with a technology team to gain exposure to data ingestion, high-performance processing, modelling, portfolio and risk management, live execution and post-trade analysis.
• Contribute to strategic projects beyond daily responsibilities.
• Participate in a trading simulation with the intern class.
• Present your work and ideas to senior leaders during the program.
