Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program paired with a technology team. You’ll work on real, high-impact work alongside portfolio managers, analysts, and professionals, and present your成果 to senior leaders at the end of the summer.

You’ll gain mentorship, attend a speaker series, and participate in professional development and volunteer opportunities with your intern class.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, business, or another STEM field.
• Proficiency in Python, or knowledge of other languages like C++ or Java.
• Proficiency with machine learning and AI applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Ability to be collaborative and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Assist a technology team with data ingestion, high-performance processing, modelling, and post-trade analysis.
• Contribute to strategic projects beyond day-to-day responsibilities.
• Participate in a trading simulation to build markets knowledge.
• Present work and ideas to senior leaders during the program.
