GE Vernova is seeking an Operations Lead for Heavy-Duty New Unit (HDNU) Controls Engineering to drive operational excellence across a global engineering organization. You will manage budgeting, workforce planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking to enable GT, ST, HRSG, and BOP projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of operational leadership, project management or financial analysis in engineering or large-scale projects.
• Ability to independently lead high-priority workstreams under pressure.
• Experience with budgeting, data management, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect Operations: Own the organizational infrastructure, ensuring reporting and data integrity across the global team.
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with engineering, finance, and project leadership to synchronize resource planning with milestones.
• Drive Efficiency: Diagnose bottlenecks and lead process improvements to increase throughput.
• Financial Oversight: Lead budgeting processes and oversee labor funding, expenditures, and department overhead.
• Actionable Intelligence: Track KPIs and provide data-driven financial insights to leadership.
• Accountability: Facilitate regular financial reviews to meet funding targets and fiscal health.
• Governance: Administer internal operating reviews and track action items to drive accountability.
• Compliance & Excellence: Ensure adherence to policy on time-tracking and project capitalization.
• Decision Support: Translate data into clear reporting to inform management strategy.
• Organizational Enablement: Collaborate with HR and Engineering to manage headcount and onboarding.
• Strategic Liaison: Bridge engineering teams and corporate functions.
