Nakupuna Companies seeks a Transition Assistance Advisor for the Office of Program Transition and Supply Chain (PTSC). The role leads health systems transition planning, developing MOUs, implementation plans, and financing strategies to empower partner governments.

You will provide high-level technical and policy advice to GHSD leadership, engage with private sector and multilateral partners, and advance health as a foreign policy priority through evidence-based guidance.

Formación

• MD and MPH degrees, or equivalent advanced training in medicine and public health.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in international development and/or global health.
• At least 5 years of experience working with a multilateral development institution (e.g., World Bank).
• Demonstrated background in clinical medicine, public health, health systems, health economics/financing, and monitoring and evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and implementation of frameworks, metrics, and financing approaches that support partner governments in assuming increasing ownership of health programs in a responsible and enduring manner.
• Engage with partner governments, donors, and other stakeholders on health systems, financing, and policy issues to inform bilateral MOUs and policy guidance.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on health financing mechanisms (e.g., co-investment policy, G2G, results-based financing) to increase partner governments' self-reliance.
• Serve as a technical expert contributing to development, coordination, and dissemination of policies related to integration and more efficient use of clinical resources and human resources for health.
• Counsel and advise senior management on program transition strategies based on country and regional contexts and financial landscapes.
• Draft or co-author policy papers, strategy documents, and guidance related to health systems integration, health financing, and donor-to-country transition.
• Prepare policy briefs, talking points, and decision memos to elevate health as a foreign policy priority.
