Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Head of Supplier Performance and Capability to lead a global framework for supplier performance, risk assessment, and capability development. The role is based onsite in Creedmoor, NC, and will partner with site teams to drive recovery plans and continuous improvement across Ontic’s worldwide supplier network.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in supplier management, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional leadership within a multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Significant progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Management, Supplier Development, Operations, or Manufacturing.
• Experience managing complex supplier performance, delivery recovery, capacity, or supply continuity challenges.
• Strong understanding of supplier performance management, root cause analysis, corrective action, capacity planning, risk management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing and implementing standardized processes, tools, metrics, and governance across multiple teams or locations.
• Ability to analyze complex supply chain data and translate into business risks, priorities, and improvement plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve common Supply Chain tools, methods, processes, and governance across Ontic’s locations.
• Establish a global framework for supplier performance management, recovery, risk assessment, and capability development.
• Identify capability gaps and develop tools, training, and initiatives to strengthen Supply Chain performance.
• Capture and share best practices across the enterprise.
• Maintain enterprise-level visibility of supplier performance and emerging risks.
