Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Development to shape the commercial strategy for Baxter's new US biologics services platform.

You will build executive relationships with leading pharma/biotech companies, define partnerships, and drive growth from ground up. The role reports to the VP, Strategy & Business Development and offers cross-functional leadership across manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, or related industries.
• Significant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commercial leadership, alliance management, or program leadership.
• Demonstrated success building executive-level customer relationships and driving complex commercial engagements.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Baxter's U.S. biologics services business.
• Build and manage relationships with senior leaders across pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
• Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close strategic development partnerships and future manufacturing opportunities.
• Partner with internal manufacturing, quality, regulatory, technical, and supply chain teams to develop customer solutions.
• Lead cross-functional efforts supporting proposals, due diligence, technology transfer, and commercialization activities.
• Help define service offerings, business processes, operating models, and growth strategies for Baxter Pharma Partners.
• Represent Baxter at industry conferences, customer meetings, and executive forums.
• Contribute to the long-term development of a global pharmaceutical services business.
