Job summary

Fujifilm Biotechnologies in the United States seeks a Head of Business Development for Biologics in the Advanced Medicines Division to drive new market creation, flagship accounts, and global territory strategies that translate into revenue and enduring partnerships.

You will lead a global commercial organization, shape growth with cross-functional teams, and partner with biopharma leaders to deliver patient-focused solutions while advancing the company’s leadership in biologics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science-related field preferred
• At least twelve years in business development with strategic planning
• At least eight years leading a sales team
• Experience setting sales targets and driving growth
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Strategic mindset with ability to influence senior leaders
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to lead across global organizations

Responsibilities

• Define strategy to prospect and secure new CDMO opportunities for FUJIFILM Biotechnologies
• Conduct market research with market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop territory expansion plans aligned with global objectives
• Maintain pipelines and deliver insights to executive leadership
• Represent Fujifilm Biotechnologies with senior stakeholders and at industry events
• Lead negotiations to manage scope and ensure contractual compliance
• Capture customer feedback to inform future solutions
• Collaborate with legal and commercial teams on terms and scope
• Partner with sales, product, and marketing on go-to-market strategies
• Coordinate with demand planning to align manufacturing with needs
• Perform other duties to support enterprise growth
