Job summary

Humanoid in Boston seeks a Head of Solutions Engineering to translate customer needs into compelling robotics solutions. You will initially lead as an individual contributor, visiting sites and crafting proposals, before expanding the function across regions including the UK/EU, US and MENA.

You will define solution concepts, validate feasibility with Product/Engineering, and own the pre-sales content and business cases to drive scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Solutions Engineering or similar customer-facing tech roles.
• Strong robotics/automation domain knowledge and integrations with ERP/MMS systems.
• Experience building business cases, ROI, TCO models and deployment cost estimates.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams including Commercial, Product, Engineering and Deployment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across regions (US/UK/EU/MENA).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery, site visits and requirements to identify high-value use cases.
• Define solution concepts, workflows, robot configurations and integration with customer systems.
• Own pre-sales content, proposals, statements of work and due diligence responses.
• Develop commercial cost estimates and maintain a robust pre-sales library.
• Build and scale the Solutions Engineering function globally with a hiring plan.
