Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Physical Security Hardware Specialist to guide the global Security Systems and Technology Organization. You will own hardware and systems strategy, drive multi-site integration of access control, CCTV, and IDS, and manage relationships with IT, Vendors, and internal customers.

You will mentor a worldwide team, develop roadmaps, and ensure compliant, scalable security solutions that align with SpaceX missions and IT standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, VMS, intrusion detection systems, fire and alarm systems)
• 1+ years of direct leadership responsibility across global sites
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (engineering, security management, information systems)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Systems and Technology Organization, providing strategic direction and organizational leadership for the entire hardware and systems function
• Develop and communicate the overall security systems and technology strategy, roadmap, and change management plans
• Drive end-to-end systems and hardware integration of access control, video management, intrusion detection, analytics, and related platforms with IT infrastructure and enterprise tools
• Lead vendor/contractor management for design, installations, large-scale facility security infrastructure, and special projects
• Maintain SOPs, Confluence pages, and JIRA tracking for enterprise projects
• Own budget planning, resource allocation, headcount, and performance metrics for the global Security Systems and Technology Organization
