Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Physical Security Hardware Specialist to oversee the global hardware and systems for access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. You will lead a multinational team, shape the security technology roadmap, and interact with IT, facilities, and procurement to deliver scalable, reliable solutions across SpaceX sites worldwide.

The role requires a deep background in security platforms (Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon), strong leadership, and the ability to manage multi-site

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency
5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level physical security systems (CCTV, access control, VMS, IDS)
1+ years of direct leadership responsibility across global sites
Bachelor's degree in engineering, security management, information systems, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the Security Systems and Technology Organization with strategic direction for hardware and systems
Mentor and develop the global Security Hardware Specialist team, including performance management
Drive enterprise security strategy, roadmaps, and change management aligned with SpaceX objectives
Oversee end-to-end systems/hardware integration (ACS, CCTV, IDS) and vendor management across sites
