Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Global Head of MSAT Packaging to lead a worldwide organization responsible for defining and delivering innovative, compliant and sustainable packaging solutions across Takeda's portfolio.

The role requires strategic and technical leadership across packaging commercialization, tech transfers and lifecycle management, ensuring collaboration with R&D, MSAT, manufacturing sites and external partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific, engineering or technical discipline.
• Approximately 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, packaging, medical devices or related technical operations.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience managing global technical, engineering, manufacturing or program-management organizations.
• Proven track record in pharmaceutical packaging development, commercialization, product launches, technology transfers and lifecycle management including CMC considerations.
• Strong regulatory and quality standards knowledge (cGMP, GLP, ICH, FDA CMC).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global MSAT Packaging strategy and roadmap.
• Lead global packaging programs with portfolio prioritization, budget management and risk mitigation.
• Oversee packaging commercialization, qualification, transfers and manufacturing implementation.
• Foster governance and collaboration across R&D, MSAT, QA, Regulatory and external partners.
• Drive lifecycle management, cost optimization and continuous improvement across sites and CMOs.
• Develop and harmonize global packaging standards, procedures and best practices.
