Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Automation, Data Science or related field.
• Typically 15+ years in pharma/biopharma manufacturing, MSAT, or tech leadership with global scope.
• Proven track record leading tech innovation and manufacturing transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead global technology and innovation strategy for the assigned manufacturing modality.
• Own and govern the innovation portfolio across process tech, automation, and digital solutions.
• Drive industrialization and deployment from concept to GMP deployment and lifecycle management.
• Establish modality technology blueprint and future manufacturing architecture.
• Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cost, quality and supply reliability.
• Lead cross-functional teams and governance to accelerate technology adoption and transformation.
• Develop external partnerships with academia, technology providers, and industry groups to identify opportunities.
