Cohere is seeking an experienced Head of Non-Tech Talent to lead our global hiring strategy for G&A, GTM, Finance, Legal, and other business functions. You’ll build and coach a high-performing, scalable non-tech talent team across regions, and partner with executives to attract, hire, and develop top talent.

• 12+ years in talent acquisition and leading non-technical hiring teams.
• Experience scaling recruitment functions during hyper-growth.
• Strategic foresight for talent needs 6–12 months ahead.
• Data-driven approach with talent analytics and metrics.
• Strong coaching and mentoring with high-volume teams.
• Deep experience hiring for HR, Admin, Finance, Legal, and related roles.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Talent Leadership: Develop and execute non-tech talent strategy aligned with growth.
• Team Development & Coaching: Recruit, mentor, and develop recruiters, sourcers, coordinators.
• Process Innovation: Design scalable hiring processes with high-quality standards.
• Business Partnership: Advise Talent Leads and executives in non-tech units.
• Employer Branding: Elevate Cohere's non-tech talent branding and campaigns.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Establish metrics to track hiring ROI and pipeline health.
• Talent Pipeline: Build diverse pools for Director+ roles with sourcing function.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with People Ops for onboarding integration.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee recruitment budget with data forecasting.
