Job summary

Cohere is seeking a creative, high-performing Talent Partner to scale our G&A recruitment function. You will own end-to-end sourcing for Legal, Finance, Marketing, and People, delivering world-class candidate experiences and partnering with leaders to build scalable hiring strategies.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of G&A full-cycle recruiting experience at scaleups or fast-growth companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle recruitment process for G&A functions (Legal, Finance, Marketing, People, etc.).
• Ensure candidates have a world-class recruiting experience.
• Partner with hiring managers to craft effective recruiting strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date talent market insights to inform decisions.
• Track recruiting funnels in Ashby ATS and report progress.
• Proactively source candidates to optimize the top of the funnel.
• Build relationships with diverse tech and talent communities.
• Take ownership of talent projects and initiatives.
• Represent TA at conferences and plan curated networking events.

About The Role

Cohere is in a unique and exciting position to grow our G&A team globally! We are expanding our Talent Team and are looking for a creative, high-performing G&A talent partner who is eager to take on a new challenge as we are in the early stages of building the Talent Acquisition function. In this role, you will master a new domain of recruiting, recruit world-class talent, and influence the scaling of a high-growth Canadian tech company. What You’ll Do

As an intermediate Talent Partner for Cohere, you will:

• Own the full lifecycle recruitment process, attracting and recruiting top talent for G&A (Legal, Finance, Marketing, People, etc.) at Cohere.
• Make sure our candidates have a world-class recruiting experience with us.
• Work with hiring managers and leaders to create effective recruiting strategies.
• Keep us up-to-date with talent market and industry insights so we can make informed decisions.
• Keep track of recruiting funnels in Ashby our ATS, and update the progress regularly.
• Find creative ways to proactively source and recruit candidates to optimize the top of the funnel.
• Build relationships with diverse tech and talent communities.
• Bring in other exciting talent projects and take ownership of them!
• Attend and represent our Talent Acquisition team at industry conferences as well as plan and execute curated networking events.

Who You Are

• 3-7 years of G&A full-cycle recruiting experience scaling high-growth teams (experience at startups is a plus).
• You are a creative problem solver and thrive under pressure. We are a fast-growing scale up and with that comes ambiguity and change.
• You are a natural influencer and enjoy working cross-functionally.
• You love data and take a data-driven approach to your recruiting.
• You are passionate about diversity, community, and ensuring an equitable recruiting process.
• You are leveraging AI within your workflow to automate processes.
