Job summary

tms, a global organization, seeks a seasoned Global Director of Learning and Development to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive programs aligning with business objectives. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, continuous learning culture, and measurable impact across a diverse workforce.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years in L&D with leadership experience, strong instructional design, and expertise in LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR, OD, Education or related field
• Proven track record designing and implementing L&D programs that boost engagement and performance
• Experience in corporate, large organizations with diverse workforce needs
• Familiar with digital learning solutions and innovative methodologies
• Experience managing budgets and resources to achieve outcomes
• Strong understanding of adult learning and instructional design

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs and gaps across the organization
• Develop and implement a global L&D strategy aligned with business goals
• Design onboarding, leadership development, technical skills, and other programs
• Create a curriculum addressing learning needs at all levels
• Lead and coordinate internal or external trainers to deliver sessions
• Evaluate learning programs using metrics and feedback for improvement
• Oversee learning technology platforms and tools to enhance delivery
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align learning initiatives with objectives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Manage learning and development budget and global events
