Job summary

Hiya is seeking a founding leader for Forward Engineering to scale our solutions across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. You will lead forward deployed engineers and solution architects, own the distribution platform, and work with operators, device makers, and partners to deliver trusted calling at scale.

Reporting to the CTO, you’ll build teams, set operating plans, and manage headcount and budget while ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles; leadership of engineers and managers.
• Led forward deployed, solutions, or customer engineering orgs at B2B platforms.
• Experience shipping production code and customer-facing engineers; strong architecture review skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow forward deployed engineering across Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific; hire required in each market.
• Own the distribution platform: hosted gateways, SDKs, and tooling for partner/device maker distribution.
• Own reliability and cost to serve of live integrations; define on-call and incident model.
